Project Heart at Boys & Girls Club

January 24, 2020

It's thrilling when the right collaborative partners get together to implement a strategic vision, and we're grateful to be part of this new pilot! Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County and Thompson School District identified a gap for their middle school programming, Conrad Ball students need a safe place to be after school where they can have fun while continuing to learn and grow. After many conversations, it became clear that Project Heart is a natural fit! By adopting an ethos of identifying needs and using personal 3Ts to meet those needs, students feel agency over the impact they can have. Kids and families are learning that everyone can be a philanthropist and it feels good to make a difference.

Keep an eye out in Spring 2020 when we share resources from our Project Heart pilot with Conrad Ball's Boys & Girls Club. Learn more about OtterCares Foundation's support of this club from the Loveland Herald article published January 2020.
